Announcing our 2020 Holiday Show…Letters to Santa!
This show is structured to be completely flexible, to be performed in person, virtually, or a hybrid of the two. The performance date is tentatively set for Saturday December 5th.
The show will be a series of monologues and small scenes from actors and actresses of various ages reading their letters to Santa, interspersed with dancing and musical performances…sure to get anyone in the holiday spirit!
Auditions will be by video submission only; please submit your video by Monday September 14th at 8pm. Videos can be emailed to Miss Natalie. In the email of your video submission, please include performer’s name and age. Because of the smaller scale of this show, Saturday rehearsals will begin later in September. Rehearsal schedule TBD, but is usually between 8:30am and noon on Saturdays.
Video auditions are as follows:
THOSE WANTING A DANCING ROLE: please submit a 45 second – 2 minute video that shows ballet, jazz, modern, OR contemporary. A Showcase piece, competition piece, or improv piece is acceptable, but must be a recent (within the past few months) video.
THOSE WANTING A SINGING/MUSIC ROLE: please submit a video performing your preferred instrument (singing or playing) a holiday song of your choice that is 1-2 minutes long.
THOSE WANTING A SPEAKING ROLE: please submit a video of a 45 second to 1 minute monologue. If you would like, write your own letter to Santa and read that as your monologue!
If you wish to be considered for more than one type of role, please submit a 1 to 3 minute video performing the various types of roles you would like.
