Alexander Gallatin is a violinist from Milwaukee, WI. He‘s had the pleasure of performing several styles of music throughout the Midwest. He received a bachelor’s degree in violin performance from UW-Milwaukee and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in violin performance from UW-Madison. Alex is versatile in his pedagogy, as every student has different needs on their way to balanced and high-level musicianship. Alex also believes in an encouraging approach to teaching, since the well-being of a person affects not only their ability to play music but every aspect of their life. Alex has studied with teachers including Dawn Wohn, Bernard Zinck, Diane Duraffourg-Robinson, Heidi Barker, and Loree Simuncak.
