Tera began her training at Stoughton Center for the Performing Arts in 1996 and continued through her senior year of high school. During that time she was a member of the Dance Company and trained in the highest pre-professional level of classes in Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical and Contemporary. As part of her continued training she studied in Chicago with many professional teachers on the faculty of Chicago National Association of Dance Masters, Tremaine Dance Conventions and L.A. Dance Magic, to name a few.
During Tera’s time on the Stoughton Center for the Performing Arts Dance Company she danced in Atlanta when the Company was invited to perform at the Jazz-on-Tap convention.
She was the Assistant Coach for Madison Technical College Dance Team in 2004-2005. Tera danced with the MiraCosta College Touring Ensemble 2013-2014. She was the founder of the Dance Education Scholarship at MiraCosta College in 2014.
