Henry Pappas is a musician from Corvallis, Oregon, and he has loved music since he began playing at age 7. Henry plays guitar, bass, percussion, violin, piano, and he is an experienced vocalist as well. He has experience with numerous state band and orchestra competitions, and was selected to receive the John Phillip Sousa Band Award in 2022.
Before graduating Suma Cum Laude from Lafayette College with an honors degree in Music, Henry worked for the college as both a private teacher and a student mentor. He also served as co-director of the percussion ensemble. Currently, Henry is wrapping up recording his original album ‘On My Own’ which he wrote for acoustic guitar, percussion, piano, and voice. Henry’s love for music has led him to perform, record, produce, arrange, and compose, but his priority is in teaching as he seeks to inspire his students and encourage them to find their own passion.
