This Holiday Season we will be presenting the beloved holiday classic, “Miracle on 34th Street”.

Auditions will be held at the Stoughton Center for the Arts, and are open to anyone!
Tuesday August 22nd
4:30-5:30pm – Actors/Singers ages 7-12
5:30-6:15pm – (non PPL) Dancers ages 5+ (dancers only, if you are an actor or singer there is no need to attend this audition)
5:30-6:30pm – Actors/Singers ages 12-15
7:00-8:30pm – Actors/Singers ages 16+

Callbacks will be Wednesday August 23rd from 5:30-8pm.

Actors and Singers should prepare one minute of their favorite Christmas song to be sung a capella.  Actors and Singers should also prepare one of these monologues.

Dancers should arrive in dancewear with jazz or ballet shoes.

Rehearsals will run Saturday mornings from September 9th to November 18th, with additional rehearsals 11/20, 11/21, and the week of November 27th.
Some larger/lead roles will have additional rehearsals on Sunday afternoons.
Performances are set for December 1st and 2nd.

Synopsis:
Single mother, Doris Walker, doesn’t want young Susan’s head filled with romantic notions. Their neighbor, Fred Gailey, tries to woo Doris by charming Susan and taking her to see Santa Claus at Macy’s, where Doris works. Doris is not impressed, but when it turns out that Macy’s Santa may, in fact, be the real Kris Kringle, a wave of love spreads across New York City that melts even the most cynical hearts.
