WHO WE ARE

More than the arts…

Like reading, writing, and math, the arts are essential to education. The arts aid in teaching life skills; they instill abilities to solve problems and communicate, to learn new skills, to be creative and innovative, to help unlock profound human understanding, and to strive for excellence.

We at SCA believe in teaching our students in a loving and supportive environment while pushing our students for their best.

Our classes run with the school year, September through May, with a summer session that runs during the summer months of June, July, and August.
Our Calendar listing holiday breaks, shows, and more can be found at the bottom of the site.
Tuition for 32 weeks of classes is divided into nine equal payments that are due on the 1st of each month September through May.  If your account is not paid in full by the 10th of the month, a late fee of $25 will be added to your account.
Full payment policies are listed above.
Your son/daughter is allowed two makeups per semester if the absence is excused (notified prior to start of class by a parent or guardian).  Unexcused absences will not be made up.
Our full Makeup policies are listed above.

When the Stoughton School District closes, dismisses early, or cancels after school activities due to bad weather, the Center will be closed as well.

We do run classes and lessons on days such as Martin Luther King Jr Day or other days when school may not be in session.  Refer to our calendar for more information.

We keep studio doors closed during class and ask parents to remain in our waiting area in order to maintain the attention and focus of the child in class.

Much of the information needed is found right here on this website!

We also email our clients frequently throughout the season to keep them up to date as to what’s going on, our calendar, and things to note.  Please add [email protected] to your contact list to receive those emails!

This varies by department.  Please see the department page for more information.

Clients wishing to terminate enrollment in classes must do so by written notification.  We require a thirty (30) day notice which will be effective on the day it is confirmed and received by our office.  You will receive a confirmation with the effective date of termination.  Your account MUST be made current and brought to a zero balance at the time you submit your request for termination.  You are responsible for paying for classes through the effective date of termination.

In the Dance and Drama Department if you discontinue a class or classes, you are still responsible for the cost of any/all costume(s) that have been ordered.  You will receive your costume when they arrive in mid-April to May, regardless of participation.
