Discover Dance – for our younger students, videos to get you moving! No dance experience required.
CLI Studios – for our dancers age 8+. This is normally a paid service, but CLI Studios have started a #keepdancing movement where every day they offer multiple classes streamed online for FREE! The instructors are industry professionals who are world famous dancers and choreographers. This is a wonderful opportunity for your dancer to take classes with these amazing artists!
BandBlast – Our very own Miss Angelica loves this app! Make your child’s screen time fun, educational and productive with this great free music app that includes games, songs to learn, rhythms, notes and more!
Beg/Int Jazz Combo – a super FUN beginning/intermediate jazz combo from NYC based choreography Andrew Turtletaub…a great way to get you moving!
New Victory Theatre – NVT is exploring an art form each week with a new lesson each day. The program is aimed at helping kids (and their parents) develop new skills and stay active during this time. Dance, Music, and more!
15 Broadway Plays and Musicals – Playbill put out an article on 15 Broadway Plays and Musicals – Stage Versions – that you can watch from home.
20 Minute Warmup – a nice 20 minute warmup for jazz/contemporary from Emily Bufferd, faculty at Broadway Dance Center and Steps on Broadway (both in NYC).
Create your own Puppet Theatre – Have your child write or adapt a story, create the puppets, and put on a show!
Ultimate List of Online Music Education Games – this one pretty much explains itself! Written by a former music teacher, these resources are free to the public.
GoNoodle – another free resource – GoNoodle Games and GoNoodle Good Energy at Home, that includes yoga, mindfulness, movement, and other activities.
Ballet Exercises for Strength and Stability – an infographic from Ballet Arizona.
Tap combo/warmup – a ‘Call & Answer’ combo part of a warmup for beginning/intermediate tappers from Bringing Tap to the People. They state if you’re new to tap (welcome to the cool kids club!) and just try your best to match the rhythm!
