Sterling Jiskra was born and raised in Madison, Wisconsin, and began training with The Stoughton Center of Performing arts at the age of three. She trained in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary, and Modern. During her time at SCPA Sterling performed in many performances of the Nutcracker. Sterling has also participated in many summer Intensive programs in the Madison area. During high school, she joined her high school dance team and began training and competing more intensively in jazz and hip-hop. Following high school, Sterling continued her education at Madison college and now works in Dental Hygiene. She is excited and looking forward to sharing her knowledge and passion with her students at SCA.
