Trevor Healy grew up near Rochester, NY, and was involved in chamber music and private lessons at the Eastman Community Music School. As a french horn primary, he attended The Ohio State University for his Bachelor’s in Music Education, graduating in 2022. Over the course of this degree, he gained experience teaching a variety of instruments, primarily brass. While in Columbus, he performed with a wide variety of campus ensembles, plus local semi-professional orchestral groups. He is now attending the University of Wisconsin-Madison for a Master’s in French Horn Performance. He is currently the faculty woodwind quintet’s (the Wingra Wind Quintet) horn player. He enjoys both the teaching and performing side of music and is excited to newly be a part of the Stoughton Center for the Arts faculty.
